Whether you like it or not, this really might be happening.
It appears that a Creed reunion may be on the horizon, supported by two compelling reasons. Firstly, Creed has recently updated their Facebook profile and banner with a fresh logo. Unless it’s merely a whimsical change, it likely signifies something significant is in the works. Secondly, their website currently requires a password for access, indicating ongoing work behind the scenes. So, brace yourselves, as the moment you’ve eagerly anticipated or perhaps dreaded might be approaching soon!
In truth, a Creed reunion wouldn’t come as a shock. The yearning for alt-rock and nĂ¼-metal from the 2000s is currently soaring, and Creed has unquestionably received offers for reunion shows in recent times.
During a 2023 interview with Cameron Buchholtz of Rock 100.5 The KATT, guitarist Mark Tremonti acknowledged that the band receives consistent inquiries about a reunion but faced challenges in making it happen.
“We’re constantly receiving calls,” Tremonti explained. “There are always people interested in organizing a show. However, it’s difficult for a band that hasn’t toured in a decade to simply perform a single show. We would need to assemble everything meticulously, dedicating weeks to production preparations and rehearsals. It’s a grand production; you can’t just do one show.”
Tremonti further elaborated that timing is the key factor, stating, “It all comes down to finding the right window that makes sense for everyone. We’re all juggling numerous projects, so we would need to identify that opportune moment.”
