After having to to cancel their previous festivals Hevy Fest returns this year. Boasting its most eclectic line up yet. Set to be held in Port Lympyne, Kent the festival will run from Friday the 14th of August to Sunday 16th of August. Closing Saturday night’s proceedings will be Thrice, who after a three year hiatus are specifically here for a one off appearance. Along with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Coheed and Cambria will be performing In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth : 3 The Get Up Kids will be performing their album Something To Write Home About.

Closing the day on Friday will be Coheed and Cambria followed by Thrice and closing Saturday’s performance will be The Get Up Kids and The Dillinger Escape Plan. Among this big four a plethora of other bands will be gracing the stages of Hevy Fest. After having some troubles in the past it seems that the festival has definitely righted its wrongs.
