Shortly after revealing their hand with the absolutely brilliant “Stranded” single, Gojira have announced a headline tour with Tesseract.

What a line up! Somehow both bands I believe will definitely play off each other. Despite the difference it will make for a fantastic bill, both esoteric otherworldly sounds. One more with their foot in the natural side of the spectrum whereas Tesseract bring more of a technological side to the proceedings.

The month long tour will run from September 21st right until October 23rd and will no doubt be one of the premier tours of the Autumn.

Not to mention this is a fantastic announcement for Tesseract themselves! Having had an incredibly successful previous US tour heading out with The Contortionist, the sky is the limit for this brilliant band and being under the wing of no doubt one of the biggest releases of the year will do them every favour.

Gojira’s brand new album Magma is set for a June 17th release via Roadrunner.
