Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody Leaves Tour Gets Phil Labonte To Fill In

Following a recent amount of worrying performances, frontman of Five Finger Death Punch Ivan Moody has decided to leave the band’s current tour to seek help.

Though there is nothing concrete surrounding this, as ever, the internet world is rife with speculation that this could well be linked to substance abuse as the singer has been linked to in the past. Instead of cancelling the tour, in seeing the overwhelming support the touring bands have had Sixx AM, As Lions and All That Remains the band have decided to carry on despite Moody’s absence.

Stepping in at the eleventh hour, resident bone head Phil Labonte has risen to the challenge in order to keep the band going.

“I got their six and stepped up right away. I’m honored to be able to help Five Finger Death Punch to finish their tour and give Ivan a chance to take care of himself. I did the same for Killswitch Engage years ago. I was humbled to get the call and get a chance to play in front of such a great audience.”

I mean don’t get me wrong it’s fantastic that the man is helping out his friends, but did he really need to say “Got their six”…

The tour will continue on as usual in the states with Lavonne on vocals as well as members from Sixx AM and As Lions
