Sure to be one of America’s national treasures the late night host Jimmy Fallon seems to have his ear to the ground when it comes to music. Usually showcasing the Ed Sheeran of the week or whatever other singer songwriter is in the charts at the moment, this time the presenter went for a more rock approach.

Prior to their return officially beginning with the release of their brand new album Sol Invictus this coming Monday 18th May the band have decided to make an appearance on the fantastic show. Known in the past for having celebrities lip sync battle against each other where we were treated to a fantastic rendition of Dr Hook’s “Blues Traveller” from Emma Stone, it would seem that the show host also has impeccable taste. Performing their brand new single “Superhero” and a cover of “Easy” by The Commodores the band performed flawlessly.
