It appears that Emigrate, the side-project led by Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe, did not wither into the wind after all.
The band has come out of nowhere and posted a new teaser with some new material sounding like Led Zeppelin produced by Rammstein, and announced that there will be a follow-up to 2007’s self-titled release entitled ‘Silent So Long‘. A very appropriate title indeed as Emigrate has all the prerequisites of a one-stop side project that would disappear forever, but the announcement of the tracklisting has shown that the band is alive and well and has some huge contributions. Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead will be making a guest appearance, as well as Korn’s Jonathan Davies and pop-sensation Peaches.
We could see something fantastic here…
