In a live announcement of sorts Jordan Rudess broke the news that the band will indeed be touring America in the spring. 

Previously announcing that The Astonishing will the band’s brand new double album rock opera effort the band also stated that there would be special performances coming to us this February. With London getting two dates February 18th and 19th the band are set to perform the entire two hour and thirty minute album in its entirety. Something the band has never done before, which to do so late in your career is alway commendable. 

It now seems that this will be the running theme throughout the album’s touring cycle. Putting together a special live performance which see’s the album’s dystopian story played through this will not be one to miss. After having blitzed Europe the band will head over statewide to begin their North American tour on April 14th lasting until May 11th. This will be your only chance to hear The Astonishing live in its entirety as I would seriously doubt that the band would do another run as grandiose as this.
