So far this year we have already seen Tesseract grace the worlds first ever stage made entirely of ice and now it seems that we are set yet another first. Playing their slot on the cruise yesterday Dragonforce were playing their classic “Through Fire and Flames“. Known for being an energetic bunch the guitarist has played solo’s on trampolines on stage previously but it seems this might be the winner.

Playing the solo, the guitarist walks near a pool surrounded by metal heads, first off is carried around in the pool then not being content with just that jumps back into the swimming pool to perform the final section of the solo underwater! What a showman! Truly fantastic musicianship from the Dragonforce guitar player, I always find it refreshing that Dragonforce’s approach is that of not taking themselves too seriously!

Dragonforce are set to have a live DVD released this summer!
