As we move into Christmas so we come closer to the announcement of brand new festivals. One being Download. 

After this years triumphant line up of Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, Download have laid their cards out this year announcing :

As always with Download, somewhat of a varied line up. Understandably Motionless In White will be there releasing their new album Graveyard Shift in January, ETID released Low Teens and Prophets of Rage have yet to perform their first UK show but some of the others are perhaps questionable. 

Simple Plan, haven’t done anything in years! Biffy Clyro will be an interesting choice vis a vis a headliner as they are hardly Metal and Aerosmith are wheeled out yet again for another Sunday. Nevertheless System of A Down… with rumours the band have been working on new material THAT is going to be good.  It’s going to be an interesting Download 17
