The worlds most productive man continues his streak releasing a brand new album Transcendence.

Stating previously that the man would be taking some time off it seems that most have a different interpretation of “time off”. Instead the man has been putting the finishing touches on brand new album Transcendence. Slated for a September 2nd release via Inside Out the new album will no doubt follow in the footsteps of Z2. 

Stating that this album is the most collaborative the band have ever been with each member present and involved in the writing process for the new album. “The result of this process is a record that I truly think the intention of is special” he says of the album. “I ‘found’ gas to put into the tank and am glad I did. I think the intention, the theme, and the participation of everyone involved allows this album to act like a fulcrum between the past few years and what I intend to do next with the symphony. I am very proud of it and everyone involved.”

The art work for the record sees Townsend and Anthony Clarkson continue their working relationship. Starting off with the idea of woman the artwork quickly spiralled into the prog mad piece that you see before you. No doubt a new song will be available at some point soon but until then enioy.
