Whatever has happened to Decrepit Birth, among the plethora of play through videos of their drummer. We finally have some “news” regarding the bands possibility of a new album. With their last release being the 2010 release Polarity. I think that a five year wait is long enough and thankfully so do the band it seems. Not quite exactly in the realms of Tool or Necrophagist but its only because the bunch are just that good at coming up with tech death!

Though this isn’t exactly concrete evidence that the new album is slowly coming together, over the weekend the band announced that they are “damn close” to having the new album written with pre-pro tracks almost all ready. Including the tongue in cheek picture of Game Of Thrones’ George R.R. Marting only made me respect these guys even more.
