Now only a week away from the release of their highly anticipated follow up to 2011’s Carnival Is Forever, Decapitated have released their second trailer for their new album Blood Mantra. After releasing both singles “The Blasphemous Psalm To The Dummy God Creation” and the less awkwardly titled “Blood Mantra” the band have decided to tease the fans a little more. Showing different sides to the new breed of Decapitated that we know, moving closer to their older sound in their first single and perhaps getting slightly more accessible in their second song we’re able to hear small snippets of what we can expect on their new album. In my opinion I think that both songs that they released are statements that the fans shouldn’t be expecting a return to their former sound, simply because its not the same band any more. It couldn’t be more apparent with the second part of their album preview that this is going to be something new, as with every release the band has put out nothing has sounded the same, particularly with the trance inducing “Blindness“… They’ve definitely got my interests peaked!
