Its hard to believe that it has now been twenty years since the metalcore mob that is Darkest Hour began. Before the peak of their career I would argue that was the Deliver Us era, where the band were firing on all cylinders there was Undoing Ruin. Replacing the sounds from So Sedated, So Secure, the band adopted the Gothenburg style of riffing even more so in their eponymous album. In order to commemorate their twentieth year as a band and the tenth year since the record was released the band have selected a small amount of shows, performing the album in its entirety!

That’s not all, for those of you who love a trip down memory lane, Dead To Fall will be joining them as support. Both bands pretty much go hand in hand, Darkest Hour have been adapting to the scene that they’re in. With the release of last years self titled effort from Sumerian the band ushered themselves very much into the twenty first century. Adding some seven string songs, but not compromising their identity. The band simply roll with the punches, so it will be great to hear a nostalgia classic. If you’re in the US make sure you get to yourself to one of these shows!
