Known for their aptitude at Melodic Death Metal the swedes are renown for creating some of the darker tones in the spectrum of Metal and now Dark Tranquility break the silence with “The Pitiless“.

Coming off their brand new album Atoma, set for a November 4th release the record will be the band’s first effort in a while. Releasing their brand new video for “The Pitiless” chronicles what looks like a series of headline performances as well as perhaps some festival appearances that happened over the summer. The song itself is grade a quality Melodic Death Metal with a cherry picked guitar solo neatly nestled into the melody amongst front man Michael Stanne’s coarse vocals.
