German black metal premiers Dark Fortress have released a new video for their track ‘Chrysalis‘ – and instead of Satan or permafrost, the band has taken on the theme of the apocalypse.

While this video drifts away from most concepts that black metal videos tend to have, we can’t deny that there the video is very creepy. It seems like there is some story behind it with montages of apocalyptic traits as if there has been some nuclear disaster, but it fits the ambience of the track very well!
