Janne ‘Warman’ Wirman of Children of Bodom will be releasing his first album in 5 years for his solo project, ‘Warmen’.

The album title has been announced as ‘First of the Five Elements‘, and a track has been posted to gather support for a crowdfunding campaign via PledgeMusic for the development of the album.

Janne Wirman is aruably one of the best keyboardists in metal, and it is interesting how he has actually turned to crowdfunding to support his new album considering it is a Children of Bodom spin-off project, one of the few bands that would get heavyweight backing. A sign of the changing times in metal music production?
