And tuning into the stranger side of guitar covers, a guitarist from Japan has recently played notes along to ashamed politician Ryutaro Nonomura who had a very public meltdown. Reports say he was trying to claim over 3 million yen (about $29’600) in travel expenses…just under what Greg Christan (ex-Testament) claimed he made in a year in his public meltdown!

Classic thrash band Overkill have released their latest lyric video for their new song entitled “Armorist”. Its got everything that we have come to know and love from Overkill, soaring, ever so slightly cheesy vocals, that killer signature D.D. Verni bass sound and of course with most metal riffs. Overkill always seem to get a bad wrap, although they weren’t at the forefront of the thrash metal movement in the 80’s they damn sure helped it along,too many people seem to forget just how much of a great band they were.
