The Ghost Inside Release New Song
The Ghost Inside have released their new song, titled “Avalanche” its essentially more of the same. Very similar to the material that was on their previous effort the stereotypically posi hardcore titled Get What You Give. Surely to be fore runners in the new age of metalcore/hardcore seemingly governed by Impericon and fashion rather than the actual calibre of song writing, that being said it’s not a terrible song. Its got the usual hallmarks of The Ghost Inside, the usual gang vocals as well as the more riff oriented parts, but I can’t help to think that its just a bit stale. Its very much been there done that territory, oh well. Perhaps there will be some evidence of evolution on their fourth full length, I’m not holding my breath though…

Not only have Iron Reagan got the lyrical stylings of Tony Foresta as well as having LandPhil of previous Cannabis Corpse fame not forgetting Ryan Parrish from Darkest Hour. The super group that effortlessly combines the energy and fun of hardcore as well as the frenecity of the thrash monsters Municipal Waste. It may not be the grandiose style of the big releases of the year but all the underground fans will flock to Iron Reagan they will definitely be around for “Four More Years“.
