Recalling a time long since gone Camden Town used to the hub of all things alternative sadly a far cry from it’s former glory the borough now houses more disposable knock offs than rare finds of genius. With this sentiment in mind we move into London’s Koko which tonight will house a true hero of the Gothic calling and poster band for the times of controversy and rebellion that the borough used to stand for.

It would seem that Prog truly does live in the heart of North London. With the holy trinity of venues being homes away from home for bands the world over. From the Islington 02 Academy, Union Chapel and now the Islington Assembly Halls. A quaint venue which has been the home to some of the more regal of Progressive leanings. Tonight we welcome back one of the genre’s most nostalgic of bands, Riverside.
Wacken Open Air 2015: Wednesday
Over the summer we travelled to Northern Germany to once again attend the heavy metal mecca, Wacken Open Air. We start the 4-day festivities at the crossroads of joy and despair, as a torrential rainstorm strikes the festival in day one!
