The black metal musos have released a brand new lyric video entitled “There’s No Place Like Home“. To say the song is slightly odd would be an understatement, melding classic elements of symphonic black metal. With orchestral pieces sounding out among black metal style vocals creates an atmosphere reminiscent of Cradle Of Filth. The video itself for “There’s No Place Like Home” is intriguing itself. A morbid tale of occurences under a disturbed roof, it seems like that might be the theme for their new album.

It seems to be that the band are more set on being as theatrical as possible which they do so very well, however consequently forsaken some of the song writing in my opinion. Although the song itself is interesting, it meanders off into something that just doesn’t really strike anything. The album itself sounds like a concept album, perhaps that might have something to do with the fact that the song itself doesn’t seem to stand out, the equivalent of zooming in on a painting. In order to appreciate said painting it might be better to see the work as a whole.

Perhaps the rest of the album will have a different tone.
