Having released a brand new album just last year, it seems that Cannabis Corpse have got more ideas on the go. The excellent From Wisdom To Baked was last years offering. Amongst the gimmick of being a cover band of sorts, the band featured some of the best song writing of their career. With the old school death metal style present along with the gory weed soaked imagery, it’s a winning combination. Honouring death metal legends ass well as creatin the bands new a career.  A real step up compared to previous outing Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise. Which although a good album was nowhere near the calibre of From Wisdom To Baked.

Recording a new album this soon is a bit of a tricky one, my guess is that as singer and bassist LandPhil is in several different bands, the hardcore act Iron Reagan and cult crossover legends Municipal Waste, who haven’t been up to much in a while. Perhaps Cannabis Corpse are trying to strike whilst the proverbial iron is hot. It’s good news for us death metallers in any case as I would imagine that the band will go from strength to strength.
