I haven’t even heard Toxic Hippies I…but now this band has my attention.

Are hippies even that toxic? These German sludge metallers seem to think so.

Germany’s sludge metallers Black Mood rocked this year’s Party San Open Air on Saturday morning in front of 2.500 fans, and now they have announced the release date for their upcoming album “Toxic Hippies II”, set to be released on September in digipak format via Black Sunset/MDD.

The band has also announced that “Toxic Hippies II” will be a bit rougher and uninhibited than the previous album from 2016, but without compromising their explosive mixture of Pantera, Down and Crowbar.

Let’s find out just how toxic these hippies are…must be bad if it required a second album.
