Behemoth Release Video For “Messe Noire”

After the absolutely phenomenal success of Behemoth‘s potentially final album The Satanist, the band have been working non stop. From touring the world over, to playing special Abbey Road live session for the BBC now in homage to the late great Giger the band have released a supremely evil new video for “Messe Noir“. Which if you have not heard yet contains some of the most tasteful lead work in the band’s history lending itself more to the hard rock category rather than death metal if I’m totally honest!

The video itself is from what I can gather the story of the inception of Satan? I’m sure there are so many more arty connotations to the story but from what I could make out an unknown being lands on a planet and sprouts horns and wings, at what seems like the Center of the world. It’s pretty metal but refined Ensuring that the overall theme of the darkened land of The Satanist still shines through.

Check the video below and if you’ve not got it yet get your hands on my personal album of the year now!
