Finally Swedish death metal masters have released a brand new song off their forthcoming album. Entitled At War With Reality the new song is exactly what everyone has been anticipating. It sounds  exactly where At The Gates would be positioned, the typical melodic death metal riffing in the verse, moving into the anthemic chorus with sorrowful leads and the dazzling solo. Giving their sound a contemporary feel whilst embracing their roots all the same.  The melancholic yet triumphant sound that they have almost patented is more present than ever making this one of the biggest return’s to form this year, rivalled only by certain Floridian metallers.

At War With Reality is what all melodic death metal has been striving to sound like for the past ten years, after taking a twenty year absence the veterans have returned to show every melodic death metal band how its truly done, if this three minute wonder is anything to go by then we will be in for a serious treat.
