Armored Saint are yet another band to be added to the ever growing list of bands that will be releasing new material this year. The new album is scheduled for a June 2nd release this year, whilst not only releasing the album the band will also be on tour with fellow lengends Saxon. Ranging throughout May the select high profile shows will be throughout the US before their album launch. Entitled Win Hands Down, the band return. Singer John Bush states :

“When we began talking about a new record I told Joey Vera (bass) to pretend we were a really huge band and that we could do anything we wanted. At least that was the mindset we should have, from the writing to the production. What came out was Win Hands Down, which is our first record in five years. There’s everything from classic Armored Saint rocker songs to epic songs and we all dug deep deliver something special. If we weren’t going to, then we shouldn’t have bothered. I’m glad we did. In May we are doing some shows in the States with Saxon. It’s a great way to get the ball rolling.“

Although album specific details have not become available yet, we can now say that there will be a new Armored Saint album this year! If you’re in the states then you can get yourself to one of these shows!
