Everyone’s favourite ridiculous Technical Death Metal troupe will heading into the studio shortly to record their follow up to the critically acclaimed The Lucid Collective.

After releasing no doubt one of the most technical albums in history it seems that Archspire are ready to go right back in there and do it all over again. Previous album as brilliant as it was, I did have a gripe with the production elements. Much of the production was flat, losing impact on important sections in the record.

However now the band will be heading into the studio in August working with Dave Otero, the man who has worked with Cattle Decapitation and is fast making a big name for himself. The band states regarding working with Otero :

“The recording date for our third album is set! We are looking forward to tracking with Dave Otero at Flatline in Denver this August. We are all huge fans of his work, and we can’t wait to see what sort of effect he’ll have on the sound and feel of this album.
