Releasing their brand new album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us today Architects have unveiled a video for their single “Downfall“.

Taking inspiration from the songs lyrical content the video itself is somewhat different from contemporary videos in that it features no performance of the band whatsoever save for a banshee screaming Sam Carter at the top of a dystopian looking tower. 

Animated to work with the rhythmic battering of the music the video works well with nondescript entities what I presume to be the modern day human not noticing any changes in the increasingly turbulent environment until Carter falls off the top.
