Many metal fans love to collect album covers for the awesome covers that grace the front of the music, and provide a backdrop to the theme of the album. A Tumblr artist has brought some of the classic album covers to life by animating them.

The concept is a very cool idea, reiterating the importance of album covers to our favourite metal music and breathing some life into the images using the cover’s themes to sort of make continuous animations to what we already see.
