The Finnish metallers, previously announced their appearance at Germany’s most hallowed festival, Wacken. Stating that the band will be playing their eponymous Tales Of A Thousand Lakes in its entirety. It was then released that the band will be going on tour with fellow label mates, Nightwish and Arch Enemy!

Scheduled for a release this September the band have announced that they will be entering the studio to record their twelfth album this April. Currently demoing new tracks the official recording will take place next month. At the helm of production duties will be Jens Bogren, infamous in the metal scene, at his Fascination Street Studio in Sweden. With their appearance at Wacken finishing up their twentieth anniversary shows, the new age of Amorphis will once again be heralded.
