The Vikings have formally added a drummer to their ranks. 

After releasing their brand new album Jomsviking Amon Amarth set out on their world tour of the album. Enlisting the help of new drummer Jocke Wallgren the band confirm today that Wallgren is now a member of the band. With Tobias Gustafsson of Vomitory fame filling in as drums on the new record Wallgren has yet to put his studio imprint on the band though having seen the drummer live the band chose very wisely! 

Here is the official statement from the band regarding the new line up addition :

“We are happy to have Jocke with us as a permanent band member. He has done a great job for us on the current world tour, bringing excellent drumming with a positive attitude and great personality, something that will definitely benefit Amon Amarth for years to come.
