Having already disappointed us slightly with the release of “No Knock” their first single it seems that All That Remains aren’t quite done. Releasing a second single the clumsily titled “This Probably Won’t End Well” it seems the new song is an omen. All That Remains have gone for potentially the most radio rock friendly sound you will hear all year. Think Five Finger Death Punch but with worse singing.
Having previously been a fan of Labonte I now just want him to know his place. Take a step back and let the music speak for itself. Labonte has made the music far too self centred, with the lyrics harking back to the days of Nu-Metal, it has become a whining affair. Although generic the music is the only redeemingly quality in the song, had it been grouped with some harsher vocals particularly in the verse then it might have worked better. It seems that All That Remains are attempting to try and make it big on the commercial side. That’s fine, just know that they will alienate their die hard fans that have been with them since This Darkened Heart or The Fall Of Ideals when the band truly were underdogs of the metalcore world.

New album The Order Of Things (again, a title that falls over itself) will be released on February 24th via Razor And Tie.
