AC/DC Guitarist Diagnosed With Dementia

Malcom Young - AC/DC

What began as hearsay on the metal scene is now unfortunately very true. After announcing that AC/DC will be carrying on their legacy and releasing a new album the band then revealed that main guitarist and brother of the revered Angus Young was suffering from illness. It has now been confirmed that the AC/DC axe man has been diagnosed with dementia at the relatively young age of 61. Releasing a statement Young’s family stated :

“Malcolm is suffering from dementia and the family thanks you for respecting their privacy”

Deeply saddening news from the AC/DC camp, dementia is a terrible disease and unfortunately there is currently no cure but we wish the guitarist the best of care and our deepest sympathies to both him and his family. His legacy will always live on through the excellent rock ‘n’ roll he created along with his band mates.

Play some AC/DC in his honour!
