Abysmal Dawn have released a brand new track from their forth coming album Obsolescence. “Inanimate” is a perfect example of what this band can deliver. With a main riff that builds slowly throughout the song giving you a constant feeling of impending doom. The boys seem to be on to a winner with this album.
The idea behind the song according to Guitarist/Singer Charles Elliot :
“Lyrically, this one is about losing your idealism and becoming a cold, unfeeling shell of a human being, in order to survive in our modern society. An inanimate object if you will, one without hope that has cut themselves off from emotion.”
Not only having this thunderous song on the new album but also have guitar virtuoso Christian Muenzner of previous Obscura/Spawn Of Possession fame as well as Bobby Koeble who played on one of death metals most influential records, Death’s Symbolic.

Obsolescence is scheduled for an October 28th release date via Relapse Records.
