If you’ve not heard of one of the most ambitious bands this year then prick up your ears to hear the first offering from Metal Allegiance.
The first offering that the band have made public is the aptly titled “Can’t Kill The Devil”. For those that don’t know how Metal Allegiance works, essentially its some of the best musicians in Metal coming together to create various different tracks, differing in genre, tempo you name it. From the likes of Alex Skolnick, to Mike Portnoy.
“Can’t Kill The Devil”, just so happens to feature Testament front man Chuck Billy on vocals, Alex Skolnick, Phil Demmel and Andreas Kisser on guitar along with Dave Elefsson on Bass and finally our man Mike Portnoy on drums. It’s interesting when band’s decide to go outside of what might be regarded as their comfort zone.
Metal Allegiance’s brand new album will be released September 18th along with a whole load of other amazing releases. A digipak edition will also be available with the nine tracks and an extra cover of Dio’s “We Rock” along with a 45 minute documentary on the making of Metal Allegiance.
