For those who are thrash fans, Evile announced that they have indeed parted ways with their guitarist Ol Drake. Deciding that the guitarist wanted to pursue his own musical interests he set out to work on his debut solo album.
Entitled Old Rake the guitarist has indeed decided to use his humour to his advantage and after recording the new album in various stages will be performing as his solo output. Prior to that however he released the first taste of material “Guitarists Playing Guitars” which kicks the anticipation into high gear off the bat. Not only performing his beautiful style, were also treated to appearances from Gary Holt, James Murphy who produced the album, Amit Sharma and Josh Middleton all one after the other! An absolutely fantastic first single which will no doubt catapult the guitarist into the metal spotlight.
Under the Huddersfield and Bloodstock World Tour the guitarist has announced that he will be performing in his hometown of Huddersfield at The Parish. A warm up show before the big festival performance this will definitely not be one to miss if you are in the Huddersfield area!
