As surely many of you now know Cattle Decapitation wrapped up their rrecording for their brand new album recently. Set to be one of the year’s most anticipated release following the incredible reception that 2012’s Monolith Of Inhumanity generated the band have been playing their cards VERY close to their chest.

However now we have some slight news! Taken from Metal Blade’s Twitter account the tweet teases a big announcement on May 20th surrounding the new album. All the usual extras that come with the announcement, track listing, release date cover art and of course a brand new song! This could be trickery but personally I think the logo has had a slight change to it, sharpened perhaps? Metal Balde have a habit of acquiring a great band and making them phenomenal! Artwork for the new album will feature work from Ben Wesconter the man behind some of the best death metal work, not to mention the bands last album!  Having already premiered the fantastic “Memory Palace” by Between The Buried And Me it seems that Metal Blade are set to put out even more truly incendiary records this year!

I would expect an August release date for the new work, more word as and when we get it!
