Having a varied line up at shows seems to be something that is more and more important in metal in this modern day. However this latest news is probably some of the most eclectic there has been. Announcing a brand new tour Danzig have teamed together with the unlikely lads that are Pennywise and Cancer Bats…

Now hold the phone there, Pennywise’s rousing calls of positivity are a pretty stark contrast compared the goth sounding classics of Danzig. Though this is an obvious one, wouldn’t it be easier if there was a Misfits style band as support? Though perhaps this might open the doors of young metal heads that will head to the show to see Cancer Bats‘ set and end up staying for the punk genius of Pennywise and Danzig and vice versa with old fans finding new music. Either way it’s an interesting line up to say the least!
