Gruesome Stream Debut Album Savage Land

Gruesome, a band made up of some of death metal’s true legends. Consisting of members from Exhumed, Malevolent Creation, Possessed to name but a few, Gruesome deliver some of the best old school classic death metal in a long time. Unified by their love for lat eighties early nineties death metal along with a small band called Death, the band have created some brilliant music. With this now their first ever album, the band channel everything that old school purists love about bands like Obituary, Death, Morbid Angel, the list could very easily go on.

Now their brand new album Savage Land is available to stream in its entirety before its release this Monday. A total throwback to the time of the nineties where death metal stood tall, I would say if anything we’re talking Spiritual Healing era Death. Not moved into the progressive musings of Human yet still retaining that grainy death metal sound associated with the nineties. Let me tell you now, any fan of old school death metal will lap this up. The groove that lovers of Slowly We Rot oozes out, the rhythmic stylings of Leprosy riff their way throughout the release. Not to mention the artwork is done by none other than Repka himself…
