Coal Chamber Release “Suffer In Silence” Feat. Al Jourgensen (Ministry)

Now on their third song premiere, we see yet another example of what Coal Chamber sound like on their brand new album. Though the band is firmly rooted in Nu Metal, there is very much an industrial feel to this new song. Slightly more technically demanding than most CC songs, not that that is a big change. The riffs are solid but the biggest difference is the vocal delivery. Adding a hazy robotic like sound to both Fafara and guest vocalist Jourgensen. The song does feature a “solo” of sorts, the production is slightly hard to hear however. Strangely enough it reminded me of my teenage years where I was listening non stop to Spineshank‘s classic Self Destructive Pattern

Overall its just another jump up and down Coal Chamber song, full of the usual bounce that the band employ. Embracing the industrial stylings of the new song also reminds us again that it has been a seriously long time since we have heard any new Coal Chamber material and for what its worth, this would appear to be an album that is current whilst also being a throw back!

Coal Chamber’s brand new album is set for a May 25th release via Napalm Records and you can preorder the album here!
