Announcing that the band would indeed be releasing a brand new album this year, we had yet to know what the ins and outs of the album would entail. Knowing the title, Holy War and the fact that it will be the heaviest and darkest material the band have put out to date was not much to go on.

Today that band have unveiled slightly more behind the new album, releasing the album artwork and track listing the pieces of the Thy Art Is Murder puzzle are slowly coming together. Personally I’m not a fan of the new artwork, however I often find that the artwork of an album grows on you the more you know about its content and so far I have zero clue about what the content of said album is. I would imagine that the band we’re going for an innocent look with what looks like a child in a white cloak. Though it does tie in with the albums name Holy War giving the effect of some form of religion.

The album was produced by Will Putney and will be the bands second release from major label Nuclear Blast.
