Having previously wowed us all with the announcement of their first wave of death metal in the form of Cryptopsy, Disgorge, Erimha and newbies Soreption. Now it has been announced that this will not be the only tour from Metal Injection this year, not quite being content with the already all star line up, yet another tour has been announced.

Devastation Of The Nation will feature extreme metal kingpins Origin and Krisiun, along with support from Aeon who have recently completed a long supporting stint with Cannibal Corpse on the back of their A Skeletal Domain tour both in Europe and the US. Along with budding talents of Alterbeast and one of my personal favourites Soreption not forgetting Mancunian slam merchants Ingested!

To say this is a monster of a line up would be a serious understatement. Co-headlining the tour are Origin and Krisiun, supporting their latest album Omnipresent whereas we might be seeing some new material from Krisiun as the band are currently in the studio with Erik Rutan working on their follow up to The Great Execution. Then there is the support… I would reckon that this might be one of the last tours for Aeon before the band hole up and record a new album, then you’ve got Alterbeast who are garnering more attention, particularly after their support slot with The Black Dahlia Murder and Suicide Silence co-headline tour. Along with my favouroute swede’s dishing out their pneumatic brutality in Soreption now on two tours will hopefully give the band that much needed exposure. Last but not least flying the flag for the Brits are Manchester’s Ingested, who releasing The Architect Of Extinction will most certainly be on people’s radars.

Though there are no concrete dates available yet this is going to be one of the best tours to hit America this year. I also have to commend Metal Injection, its tours like these that can make a huge difference to budding bands out there!
