New York death metal. A sub genre in itself, home to the likes of Immolation Suffocation and of course Skinless. Having reunited the band have just announced that their brand new album, Only The Ruthless Remain,which will be released this June.

Consisting of the classic 90’s era of Skinless, with Sherwood Webber on vocals, Noah Carpenter and Dave Matthews on guitar duties, Joe Keyser on bass and finally Bob Beaulac on drums. Sure to be a treat for any fan of death metal this release is sure to be one of the “comebacks of the year” we hope! The new album was recorded by Tom Case at Edie Road Studio with vocals recorded by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio. The album will be bringing seven new tracks in the Skinless catalogue, which if that seems to be a slight let down, bare in mind hat Organic Hallucinosis one of the best death metal albums from Decapitated was only seven tracks long!

The artwork for Only The Ruthless Remain was done by Ken Sarafin and the album is scheduled to be released June 2nd via Relapse Records. This would seem, it is the year of Skinless. Check out the awesome artwork below!
