Killer Be Killed First Ever Performance Live

Last May a brand new band Killer Be Killed released their debut album. Now, supergroups are one thing, but when you have this much talent in just the one band it’s hard to figure out exactly what to do with it. Comprised of Mastodon‘s Troy Sanders, The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s Greg Puciato, Soulfly’s Max Cavalera, Mars Volta‘s Dave Elitch.

With three different singers, the vocal attack ranges from the bellows of Sanders, the bark of Cavalera and the banshee wail of Puciato. Now, having this many talented musicians in the one room is a logistical nightmare. Meaning that it has taken the band a full year until playing their first ever live set at Australia’s Soundwave festival. Due to all of their hectic touring schedules getting everyone in the right place at the right time is a nigh on impossible. Although Mars Volta drummer.       wasn’t able to attend the performance the more than capable Ben Koller of Converge fame lended a hand!

Courtesy of Metal Hammer you can check out a small interview with Troy and some live footage!
