Following the teasing from their Twitter account we’ve seen evidence that Between The Buried and Me have been working on their new album now for quite a while. At long last however the band are now in the studio, returning to the same North Carolina set up with producer Jamie King the man responsible for almost all the bands recordings, Jamie King. After recording The Contortionist last year it seems the world is finally waking up to the genius of this producer.

Tracking bass guitar at current the band will be looking at a summer release from Metal Blade. It will be intersting to see where exatcly the band will decide to go. After the slight concept album of The Parallax EP and LP perhaps they might change their proverbial backdrop. Stated in many of the teasers the band have been uploading the new album will be a “rock opera”. No surprise to me, having said that, most of their material is already very dramatic and could be regarded as rock opera’s. We will have some sort of pertaining news soon though!
