Grindcore legends have just debuted a brand new track off their forthcoming album. “Cesspits” is audio proof that the band show no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Promising that this will be some of the more out there music the band have written whilst also retaining of course the grind passion that we all fell in love with. If this is anything to go by then Apex Predator – Easy Meat could well be one of the most ferocious albums of 2015. Drawing from different influences the band decided to have the title to describe the people that enslave (Apex Predator) being able to prey on the downtrodden enslaved (Easy Meat).

In their new song the band explore different “melodies” and I use the term as loosely as possible with Mark “Barney” Greenway still sounding like a banshee whilst commanding an ominous and absolutely destructive low tone voice. Its got everything that you would want from Napalm Death, from furious blast beats to, as mentioned before, slightly more out there sounds and the jewel in the crown that bridge at the end!

Not that there was any doubting them but Napalm Death have well and truly thrown down the gauntlet making January seriously noisy.

Apex Predator – Easy Meat will be released January 15th via Century Media Records. 2015 is going to be a loud year.
