Now only two weeks until their new release of the highly anticipated Inked In Blood, the band have released their third song of the same title. “Inked In Blood” is very different to the last slice of brutality that was delivered in the form of the thrash mad “Violence“, with a slower groove present throughout the entirety of the song it does have that Obituary feel to it all over, even having some elements of doom bands present you could argue with the fuzz of the guitars before the hades summoning solo. Although Tardy’s wails of “bodies, perished” will certainly ensure that Obituary remain in the death metal category.

On the surface a fairly boring song, throughout many more listens it slowly gets its blood drenched hooks into you and won’t let go. Listen to the song below.
