From one power metal mammoth to the other – former Angra drummer Aquiles Priester has joined Primal Fear the band has announced.

Priester replaces drummer Randy Black who quit the German power metal outfit last month, so it didn’t take them too long to replace him with another superstar drummer! The band was very brief about the announcement of Priester to their ranks, but short, sweet, and looking like they are already to hit the ground running. They said:

“We’re proud that such an amazing artist is joining our band.”

We know what Aquiles could do with Angra, so we look forward to see what he can do with Primal Fear!
