In Flames’ descent into hipsterhood continues as the band performed their first ever acoustic set at Electric Bowery in New York City.
Vocalist Anders Friden and guitarists Bjorn Gelotte and Niclas Englin performed the acoustic set in anticipation of their upcoming album ‘Siren Charms’ playing a couple new tracks such as ‘Through Oblivion‘ and ‘Dead Eyes‘. This is the first time In Flames have ever performed with acoustic guitars, and whilest that old Gothenburg metal sound doesn’t really adapt to acoustic renditions, all the new music does. Expect a lot more acoustic sets in the future with the direction that In Flames are heading in!
