A sad truth that has hit the frontman hard has caused him to exit the band. 

Never really one of my go to bands, it’s undeniable however the impact that Of Mice & Men have had the world over. Headlining all sorts of venues and being picked up on all sorts of tours, the band have been poster boys for the Modern Metal Pop sound. 

Sadly we found out that singer Austin Carlile had to cancel a full European tour owing to his condition called Marfan Syndrome. Revealing that the condition has become worse over the years and the realisation that when the singer screams after having three tears in his dual sac spinal fluid was moving, causing the man intense pain. 

In a decision that many will hopefully understand the man has decided that he needs to throw in the towel and look after his health first and foremost. The band will continue on as a four piece whilst Carlile has relocated to Costa Rica of all places. Who knows, if the man is able to become full able once more, perhaps he might one day return to the band. Fingers crossed that he does. No one deserves to have this happen to them.
