And the winner for potentially most evil Thrash Metal artwork ever goes to…
The mighty Kreator! The band have announced that they will be releasing their brand new album titled Gods Of Violence January 27th 2017. Unveiling the track listing and artwork today the band begin the tease to the lead up to the album’s release.
One of the most imposing looking pieces of album art it’s a complete tour de force. Created by Jan Meininghaus, who previously worked with the band on their Phantom Antichrist release along with other bands Overkill, Bolt Thrower to name but a few. The record was also produced by the genius swede Jens Bogren so it’ll be yet another notch on the ,and metaphorical bed post and will sound killer.
Frontman Mille Petrozza comments :
“Gods Of Violence’ was the very first song that I wrote for this album, and it stuck to me as the title track. It contains everything that Kreator is known for and it will blow your minds. I promise!”
I have to say this is the most intriguing album art to come out of Thrash in a while, though Repentless was pretty damn cool too! Just imagine how good it will look on a vinyl…
Kreator’s brand new album Gods Of Violence is set for a January 27th release via Nuclear Blast.
